Enameling Guided Open Studio
It's our anniversary weekend! While we can't do our Annual Open House festivities, we are doing an open studio instead!
This afternoon open studio session gives you 3 hours to create using our kilns and enameling tools for three hours. Someone will be available for you to ask questions, receive individual project guidance, and learn creative problem solving in a friendly and supportive environment. Don't miss this this rare opportunity for Saturday Open Studio access to use our enameling kiln with no extra charge. We are limiting attendance to only six participants. All studio tools and equipment are available for use. Basic enameling skills are required (ages 16 and up).

Open studio: $45
Project materials (select one option):
- Bring your favorite project materials and supplies such as metal and enamel. or
- Add the extra option to use our classroom collection of enamels and raid our metal scrap bin for $20.
For your convenience, additional supplies may be purchased at the studio.

Enameled Switch Plates
Back by popular demand!
Let’s make artwork with a function! In this fun workshop, you will make an enameled copper switch plate to add a finishing touch to your home décor. Explore quick & playful enamel on copper techniques like sifting, sgrafitto drawing, stencils & fusing decals. Then learn how to fire your creation in a kiln at 1450 degrees! Open to experimentation & play, create your own colorful switch plate to bejewel your home or give as a gift. Tools and supplies will be available for use.
Saturday, November 28 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
All levels welcome, & no metalworking or enameling experience required. (Ages 16 & up)
Class Fee: $65 + $20 - $25 materials fee payable at registration- includes choice of one switch plate cover with screws, a rainbow of enamels for project & an assortment of decals to choose from. Additional switch plates available to purchase during class.
