Etched Book Pendant
Learn to etch both sides of metal at once! This class will cover the most up to date techniques explained in layman’s terms to get a deep, defined, crystal clear etch every single time. Using bronze as our base metal, students will make a “book” pendant with 5-6 pages of text and images. Students will have a selection of pre made copy with inspiring quotes to choose from. To complete the project, students will make a sturdy “spiral” piece to bind the book. Charms can be removable to use separately, or kept on the spiral to be worn together. Techniques covered will include basic metal working skills, wire shaping, drilling metal, and surface finishing. Students will leave with a finished pendant ready to wear! Tools will be available for use.
