Handmade chains are beautiful and indispensable pieces of jewelry that make a dramatic statement. In this one day workshop, create a uniquely fun silver or mixed metal bracelet from beginning to end. Learn essential chain making skills including tricks for efficient ring forming and cutting, linking variations, soldering links, and finishing with a handmade clasp. This interactive workshop will involve many demonstrations and lots of hands on work. This class is limited to eight students. Tools will be available for use, magnifiers are suggested. Materials are included for making a bracelet. Additional materials available for purchase if students wish work on necklace length chains.
