"Set it and Forget it" with Andrew Kuebeck
This workshop will look at innovative ways of setting and finalizing enamel compositions through a variety of connection methods and processes. Students will learn both fabricated and cold connected ways of setting enamel plates into finished jewelry pieces. Emphasis will be placed on the development of the students own aesthetics and manipulation of the demonstrated settings. Settings reviewed will include prong setting, bezel setting, turtle setting, basket setting, frame setting and pop up prongs. Information and demonstrations will also be provided on the creation of findings and pin backs. Tools will be available for use. This class is linited to eight students.
Saturday, February 29 - Sunday, March 1 10:00 am - 5:00 pm each day
Open to all skill levels, but some basic sawing/filing/soldering skills would be helpful. (Ages 18 & up)
Class Fee: $325
Materials Fee: $25 payable to the instructor
