Firing Stones in PMC
Learn how to set stones in Precious Metal Clay (PMC) to create fine silver jewelry. Basic techniques covered will include rolling, texturing, flush setting, and bezel setting stones in PMC, firing and polishing. We will discuss stones suitable for firing in place; along with design, structure, and durability of different grades of PMC clay. Pieces will be kiln fired, and torch firing will also be discussed. Students will complete a fun variety of pendants and/ or earrings. This class is limited to only six students. Tool kits will be available for use. All levels are welcome, and no metalworking experience is required (ages 16 and up).

Class Fee: $95
Materials Fee: $65 payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
Includes 15 grams of PMC3, a choice of 4 colored CZ stones, use of tools, and materials. Additional PMC Clay will be available for purchase.
