Mold Making for PMC
one spot left
Learn how easy it is to create molds that can be used to make fine silver jewelry using Precious Metal Clay (PMC). Basic techniques covered will include using two-part mold material to create a reusable texture plate. Items used for molds can be small objects from nature, household items such as buttons, stamps, and other objects. All items made can become inspirational elements to create your own unique designs for earrings, charms, or small pendants. Pieces will be kiln fired, and torch firing will also be discussed. This class is limited to only six students. Tool kits will be available for use. All levels are welcome, and no metalworking experience is required (ages 16 and up).
